It’s finally time for our kids to share their learning and wisdom with the world! This is our very first episode and we are so excited to influence kids all around the world through our students from Ecole Good Shepherd school. This show is all about challenging kids to show up as the best version of themselves. Our students wrote the podcast with the influence of Rachel Hollis. In this episode we talk about the hard things and how we have to decide and take action to make changes in order to achieve our dream at the youngest of ages. We talk about motivation, setting goals, and going all in. Even if you miss… It is only you who can control what happens next but we want you to know that we are right here doing our thing alongside you.
Kids need to understand that how they form their habits and view themselves really does matter right now for their future. That is part of our purpose – to educate, model, inspire, and provide tools and ways to instill lifelong habits so that we really are the best version of ourselves at the youngest of ages. We, as a student wellness team, intend to do our best, even if we miss…This is our gift to send out into the universe of stars and wifi in hopes of doing good anyway.
This podcast has our leaders talking, educating, and sharing what they have learned from reading and listening to wellness leaders and podcasts. They write their own podcast after researching the topic and they tape it themselves. Each podcast is about five minutes long. We hope the message reaches to home as well as school and beyond. We are challenging parents to listen to the podcasts with their children and reflect on what they learned and heard. Next, we are going to go one step further and challenge parents to model building their own healthy habits so that their kids will feel supported. We need to talk about showing up as the best version of ourselves every single day. We need to then take action right now to begin.
